Case Study:
From Cold Room to $7K Client

How Alecia Turned One Podcast Episode into 35 Subscribers and a High-Ticket Sale

About the Client

Name: Alecia St. Germain
Business: Leadership & Mindset Coaching for Women in Business
Offers: Three tiers of coaching (1:1, group, and hybrid programs)

The Challenge

Alecia has a successful podcast that is getting good amount of listens. Her coaching clients were telling her that they listened to her podcast  and really enjoyed it. The problem is that she had no idea how to connect with the listener that might be ready to work with her. She was sharing the traditional lead magnets but that was not really producing much results.
And when people were signing up for the free content, it would not convert to a call and a sale.

She knew that her podcast attracts her idea client, but how to bridge that gap from listener to active lead?

“It wasn’t converting. Even with a full nurture sequence, I wasn’t getting leads that turned into sales.” – Alecia

The Strategy: Podcast LeadFlow in Action

When I shared Podcast Leadflow with Alecia she was intrigued. She was not really using AI in her business, and really wanted quality over quantity so we went tiny steps after tiny steps and I showed her on a sample episode what was possible.

She loved it. She asked a few friends and collegues to test the form and they said “it sounds like you Alecia”. That was Alecia’s main concern.

From there things moved quite quickly: she was going to speak on stage at InvesterCon and that was the perfect opportunity to use Podcast LeadFlow to connect with the audience.

So she created a podcast episode designed to complement a live presentation she gave at the conference. Then, she told the audience:

“I have an AI tool—trained by me—that can help you apply what I spoke about on stage to your own life and identify your next steps.”

Attendees visited a custom landing page with a Podcast LeadFlow form (📍 view it here).
35 people signed up: all cold leads from a room of strangers.

But that was just the beginning.

Later, Alecia embedded Podcast LeadFlow into her nurture sequence.

One warm lead filled out the form. The tool had been customized to ask questions similar to those in her strategy sessions, which gave her immediate insight into what the lead was struggling with.

She basically set it up as A Lead-qualifier form. (remember Alecia is after quality of lead not quantity).

Now, instead  of letting the automation do all the work, Alecia replied with a personal message (because Podcast LeadFlow allows you to be cc’d on every email that is sent, if you want to be able to have that 1 on 1 interaction via email):

Alecia said: “I looked for places where I could suggest additional coaching, then invited her again to book a call.”

Within a day, the lead scheduled a call.

Alecia went on a family vacation and when she returned they had the call.

That call led to the lead purchasing  Alecia’s group coaching program, a $7K+ conversion from a single, personalized follow-up email.

But here is the best part.

Alecia told me: I was so focused on the email they were getting but you know what, it’s not about the email, it’s about the fact that I was able to make that connection and start that conversation.

The complete Flow:

Here is the complete flow in 4 easy steps.

STEP #1: We created together the Podcast LeadFlow form that she shared: (you can view it here)

STEP #2: When people filled out the form they got an email that looked like this, customized to them based on their answers:

STEP #3: Because Alecia chose to be cc’d on the email (she wanted to build that 1 on 1 connection, but if you don’t, you can just have them automatically added to your CRM to be put in the sequence). She replied a couple of days later to provide additional value and invite the person to book call.

STEP #4: the lead booked a call. That conversation lead to a sale of her group program.$7K+).

The Results

This one episode  combine with a Podcast LeadFlow form led to:

✅ 35 new subscribers from one offline share
✅ 1 warm lead → personalized response → booked a call within 24 hours
✅ $7K+ sale from a single follow-up
✅ Ongoing use in her email list and networking

🎤 Alecia’s Take

“I realized the real value isn’t just the personalized report—it’s the doorway it opens for authentic conversation. That’s what creates conversions.”

Key Takeaways

  • Personalizing the Podcast LeadFlow questions, in Alecia’s case she wanted them to mirror her sales conversations builds trust fast

  • Podcast LeadFlow isn’t just a form: it’s a conversation starter that replaces generic CTAs and freebies because it’s unique to each listener.

  • The best results come from following up with insight, via email but you can also use automations to nurture those newly acquired leads (and you know what episode they are coming from)
